Colwich Elementary School
Colwich Elementary serves grades PreK- 8th. Volleyball, basketball, and track are available for 7th and 8th graders. Other extracurricular activities that are offered are Scholars Bowl for 7th and 8th graders, Battle of the Books for 6th graders, Student council, choir and band for 6th to 8th graders. Colwich also requires a strict uniform dress code. “The intent of the uniform dress code is to provide a business-like atmosphere for learning and to build students’ pride in their school and in themselves.”

Colwich Community Library
On February 27th, 1961 it was decided to upgrade the one room library to a new one that opened in January of 1989. “The Colwich Community Library exists to have a positive impact on the quality of life of all the citizens in the area by using our resources and cooperating with other information agencies across the state to satisfy the reading and information needs of the citizens.”
Located at 5th and Chicago Ave, this park has a playground for children and is perfect to spend the day with family and create memories together.
Memorial Park is located at 500 E. Chicago. This park has a pond and even ball fields! Memorial bricks can be purchased for a loved one who served in any branch of the military, a friend or a loved one and all proceeds go to the upkeep of the memorial site.
Colwich Ball Club
Located in Memorial Park, this league is sponsored by the City of Colwich. Registration is available online.
Colwich has 3,100 linear feet of walking trails, bike paths and a sand volley ball pit for recreational benefit. A map of the walking trails can be found on the Colwich city website.
